The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the sassa area every day. The provider point developed for intervention activities a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and increase usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
